Police launch appeal in finding woman who spat in taxi driver's face

PSNI are appealing to the public for information regarding a woman who defiled a taxi driver in Belfast.

The woman is said to have taken a taxi to Edward Street in Belfast city and when she went to leave the taxi, spat at the driver in his face.

The incident happened on 30th March and PSNI have issued a description, appealing to the public for help with identifying this woman.

A spokesperson for the police force said the woman followed the description of being "5'8", well built, black hair tied up in a headscarf, swarthy complexion. Wearing a leopard print coat, dark skirt, black tights and black knee length boots.
