THE PSNI have today arrested a man in Scotland on suspicion of drug offences.
Detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch, with assistance from colleagues in Police Scotland, detained the man in Glasgow before bringing him to Northern Ireland.
The 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of fraudulently importing a Class B controlled drug, conspiracy to supply a Class B controlled drug and being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug.
"We, along with our partners, will continue to work tirelessly to tackle organised crime, and this includes the supply of illegal drugs," said Detective Inspector Pyper of the PSNI.
"Drugs bring nothing but devastation. Criminals will inevitably line their pockets at the expense of the most vulnerable members of our communities, with families and loved ones left to pick up the pieces.
"Today's arrest is an excellent reflection of collective efforts, and we're grateful for the support of our colleagues in Police Scotland."
