Ryan Tubridy’s Wikipedia page hacked with claim he is a 'horny b****x' who presents sex shows

LATE LATE Show host Ryan Tubridy has fallen foul of online trolls after his Wikipedia page was hacked to include the claim that he is a “horny b****x”.

The RTE presenter was targeted by crude hoaxers who took to the encyclopaedia website to rewrite the details of his profile.

On the edited version of the page, Tubridy is described as "an Irish broadcaster, a presenter of live sex shows on radio and television" in Ireland.

The page was edited at some point on Saturday evening before being changed back by moderators on the site.

It’s not the first time the 48-year-old has come under attack from online haters.

Back in 2011, he quit Twitter altogether after growing weary of abuse from trolls.

Tubridy returned in 2017 but has been an outspoken critic of online trolls in the time since.

In March last year, he revealed actor Barry Keoghan had been targeted for abuse after appearing on the Late Late Show.

He told listeners on his RTE Radio One programme: “Unkind people were out and about on Friday night when we had Barry Keoghan and Niamh Algar [on the Late Late Show],’ Ryan explained.

“From the moment I met [Barry], I’ve become completely enamoured by him because he’s one of life’s good people. He’s come through a rough run of things in his life but came out the other side with extraordinary class and star quality.

“He has a strange way about him when he comes on the TV because he is nervous and he has this way that’s just a little different.

“He came on, did the interview and he was just magnificent. The mean people, I don’t know if you are one of those people who make comments online about people like Barry or whatever, just know this — you think you’re going to be smart and you think you might be funny, but you’re not.

Tubridy has signed off from presenting the Late Late Show for the summer.
