POLICE in Derry have revealed human excrement was thrown at one of their vehicles in the city today.
The incident happened in the Creggan area while a Local Policing Team was on patrol.
The PSNI Foyle team shared a picture of the vehicle on Facebook, saying ‘the mind boggles’.

The team put on a brave face, using the hashtag #PooliceService and a poo emoki when sharing the picture.
However they warned such attacks could have a knock-on effect and hamper their ability to tackle crime.
They wrote: “These youths need to think about what service they want: ‘Sorry we can’t deal with the people robbing your Granny because people are throwing faeces everywhere.’”
