PEOPLE have praised a random act of kindness by a stranger after details of the gesture were shared online.
Leisureland, a swimming centre and events venue in Salthill, Co. Galway, posted details of the amazing gesture on Facebook.
A stranger sent the venue €120 with a letter saying that it was to cover the entry of the first 22 children who arrived today, March 22.
The sender said they made the gesture following a visit to Ireland, which has ‘the friendliest people in the world’.
Along with the money, the mysterious donor included notes to be given to the lucky children.
They read: “Your entry for today has been paid for you by a random act of kindness.
“I have no connection to Leisureland other than a visit to Ireland a few years ago which has the friendlist people in the world!
“Hope you enjoy your swim and share the love.”
Leisureland commented on their post, saying: “People are wonderful!”
People praised the amazing gesture and hoped it would be paid forward.
