Thousands raised for Irish peace-building at Co-operation Ireland Gala Ball in London

A GLITTERING Co-operation Ireland gala ball took place last night at the iconic Dorchester hotel on London's Park Lane, raising many thousand of pounds for Ireland’s leading peace-building charity.

Guests at the black tie event enjoyed a wonderful evening which included a champagne reception followed by a five course banquet, live auction and dancing until the early hours.

Co-operation Ireland is an all-island peace-building charity.

Since it was established in 1979 as Co-operation North, it has worked to encourage and promote interaction, dialogue and practical collaboration within Northern Ireland and between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
