GARDAÍ have arrested two men in Leitrim following the seizure of €55,000 of suspected drugs.
Gardaí from Ballinamore, with the assistance of the Armed Support Unit, made the discovery during a search of a property in the Ballinamore area on Saturday.
They uncovered suspected cannabis worth around €50,000 as well as €5,000 of suspected cocaine.
The men, both in their 20s, were arrested and taken to Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station.
They are currently being detained under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are ongoing and the drugs seized will be sent for further analysis.
