VIAGRA tablets and €10,000 in cash were among the items recovered in a raid carried out by Ireland’s Criminal Assets Bureau today.
The search operation, assisted by the Emergency Response Unit, included raids at six residential addresses and two professional premises.
The raid was linked to a cross-border gang, with the cash seized being made up of both sterling and euro.
Other items seized included documents and electronic devices as well as evidence of illicit tobacco and alcohol smuggling.
The operation centres on an Organised Crime Gang operating in the border region with Northern Ireland.
Authorities believe the outfit is heavily involved in the importation and distribution of illegal cigarettes and counterfeit goods.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing,
