THIS young woman had a very lucky escape on the Aran Islands when she was almost swept away by a 40 foot wave.
21-year-old Apu Gupta is seen in the video taking in the breathtaking view from the County Galway island's cliff edge, while filmed by her fiance Brian Smith filmed the choppy sea.
She was swept under by the sheer force of the water - but luckily, an advanced paramedic, Seamus Quigley, witnessed the incident and was able to save her life.
