Irish Water have asked the public to reduce their consumption as water use falls due to hot weather.
The heatwave and soaring temperatures has seen a reduction in water for certain areas.
Counties such as Athlone, Kilkenny, Longford, Dublin have been greatly affected by the hot weather.
The situation is also being closely monitored in Donegal, Galway, Limerick and Mullingar.
