CHRISTMAS IS well underway over at the Lakes Distillery, where they have just unveiled their latest booze-based creation: whisky crackers.
It goes without saying that these crackers are strictly for adults only but don't let that put you off making it a December 25th to remember - or forget, depending on how many you open.
The latest addition to the distilleries distinctively festive selection of alcoholic treats, each luxury Christmas cracker comes included with a 5cl miniature bottle of The One Whisky.
Newly-designed for 2018 the One whisky is complex yet balanced with aromas of fresh fruits, treacle, light spice and gentle peat-smoke.
The taste, meanwhile, is rich and balanced with notes of honey-roasted nuts, spice, and hints of dried fruits and wood smoke.
Priced at £5.95 a pop, the whisky cracker is perfect as an adult stocking filler or for the big meal itself.
It does come with a word of warning though: despite appearing, to all intents and purposes, as an ordinary cracker, these bad boys are not designed for pulling.
To be clear: this cracker does not go pop, no matter how hard you pull it.
