Carl Frampton's Banbridge home is on the market

CHAMPION Irish boxer Carl Frampton is upping sticks and moving out of his Banbridge home – but luckily for boxing fans, he’s not going far.

Frampton and his wife and children have outgrown their half-a-million pound house and have decided to move to Beflast, just 25 miles away.

Christine Frampton wanted to be nearer to her family, Frampton has said of the move.

While this is good news for the Framptons, it is probably equally good news for those of us who enjoy a snoop around the homes of well-known faces in Ireland.

The house is quite expensive – at a grand total of £525,000 – but you certainly get a bang for your buck.

The Framptons have transformed the house into the perfect family home, with two beautifully decorated bedrooms for their son Rossa and daughter Carla – or for big children who fancy sleeping in a princess or jungle themed bedroom too.

Along with the children’s rooms, there are three more huge bedrooms to complete the house’s sleeping quarters.

An imposing entrance hall and stunning living spaces complete the indoors – while the outdoors will keep the green-fingered prospective buyers happy with three acres to play around with.

With a boxing career like his behind him, you may expect Frampton to have a sizeable gym installed but unfortunately, there is no mention of a fitness facility in the online advertisement.

The house is on the market with Simon Brien Residential.
