FORMER Shelbourne youngster Dylan Connolly will travel with the Ipswich Town first team squad for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash at Craven Cottage against Fulham.
Connolly, capped by the Republic of Ireland at under 21 level, recently signed a deal with the Portman Road outfit until 2016.
“The first-team has got to be the aim and that’s what I’m working towards,” Connolly, who previously featured for Johnstown in the North East Counties Schoolboys' League, told Ipswich Player.
“I’ve come here and I know I’ve got to perform well in the U21 games but I’ll just keep my head down, work hard and try to be around the first-team.
“I’ve been here a while now and I’ve settled in really well. Everybody is friendly and there are a few Irish lads here which always helps.
“I’m loving it here already and training day in, day out has been great. I’m ready to work my hardest now and hopefully have a successful time at Ipswich Town.”
