Hungary and Portugal confirmed June tests for Ireland men's team

The Football Association of Ireland has confirmed two international friendly fixtures for the MNT in June 2024, with Ireland set to welcome Hungary to the Aviva Stadium before a trip to Portugal. Ireland are set to face Hungary in Dublin on Tuesday, June 4, with kick-off at 7.45 p.m., before a trip to Aveiro to face Portugal on Tuesday, June 1, with kick-off at 7.45 p.m., with the MNT set to test themselves against top-quality opposition. Ireland last faced Hungary in June 2021 in an international friendly in Budapest, where Chiedozie Ogbene made his Ireland debut in an entertaining 0-0 draw. Portugal came to the Aviva Stadium later that year, where they were held to a 0-0 draw after a strong Ireland display in front of a packed home crowd.
