Irish skier keen to impress

Nineteen year old Kieran Norris recently represented Ireland at the World Junior Alpine Championship in Hafjell, Norway.

Norris, who lives in Little Dunmow, Essex, has been competing in Irish colours since the start of the 2014/2015 season.

Becoming the number one male slalom skier in Ireland is Norris’ ambition.  On his blog Norris wrote.  “I am dedicated to my sport and I work very hard to improve in all areas which has allowed me to progress, achieve great results and become the number 1 male slalom skier in Ireland.

“It was a great experience to compete at my first major champs and I look forward to do many more in the future.

“It was a great experience and I look forward to hopefully competing again next year in my last year as a junior. I have now got a lot of work to do to improve in all areas to catch the guys at the top.”
