José Mourinho admits Irishman's impression of him is so good he can't tell the difference

HE TOOK it really well, in fairness to him.

Managerial work hasn't been going too well for José Mourinho as of late.

He has been fired from his last three jobs (Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs), and was recently appointed as Roma boss over in Italy.

However, his time as a media personality/pundit on Sky did result in quite a lot of people warming to him, and it's easy to see why.

He is a charismatic man, and regardless of his managerial performances recently, he is always box office.

And he recently met a man from Mullingar who did an impression of him that left him absolutely blown away.

Conor Moore is one of Ireland's finest impressionists, specialising in golfers and football managers and players.

He has been posting videos of himself doing impressions of football managers in years, and his José Mourinho is particularly strong, which José himself agreed with.

The pair met for a chat, and José said that the impression is good enough to convince him that it really was his own voice.

He said: "I promise you I have listened to you a few times and I could swear that was me. You can call anyone and people would think it's me on the phone - 100%."

When Moore asked how he might improve on his impression, José said that they should go out for dinner in Dublin so he can practice even more.

We hope that dinner does go ahead...
