Robbie Keane's stunning response to Roy's 'breastfeeding' jibe

ROBBIE Keane has responded in fine form to comments by Ireland's assistant manager Roy Keane that the captain was expected to attend tonight's Euro qualifier against Germany "unless he was breastfeeding".

His hilarious rebuttal to the Cork man's jibe came as he sat alongside Ireland boss Martin O'Neill during a pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

Keane joined his international teammates in Dublin for their Euro qualifying preparations after his wife Claudine gave birth to the couple's second son in the US earlier this week.

Roy initially made the tongue-in-cheek comment in reaction to a journalist’s question over Robbie's availability for the Aviva Stadium visit of the world champions.

When asked if Robbie would be available for the match, he said: "Yes, why wouldn't he be? He didn't have the baby. Unless he's breastfeeding he should be all right."
