Roy Keane poked fun at Gary Neville for the Cristiano Ronaldo snub at Old Trafford yesterday

ROY KEANE HAS poked fun at Gary Neville for getting the silent treatment from his ex-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo prior to the game against West Ham.

Before the game Neville, Louis Saha, and Jamie Redknapp were doing punditry work for Sky on the Old Trafford pitch.

Ronaldo passing by the stand said hello to Saha, Redknapp, but ignored the former England fullback to many people's surprises.

Many people think that Ronaldo ignored his former United captain for remarks he made after he left Old Trafford early during the win against Spurs.

Ronaldo was removed from the team against Chelsea but has since returned to the team.

After the Chelsea game Neville and Keane had a heated debate over Ronaldo's actions. Keane defended the five-time Balon D'or winner, while Neville had the opposite view stating that Ronaldo can't carry on like that at the club

Keane and his fellow Sky Sports colleagues saw the funny side and poked fun at Neville for the Ronaldo snub

"How does it feel to be blanked?" said Keane

Keane then added: "It must feel good to be blanked though because..."

Neville then interrupted, responding: "Do you know something, though? It means he's watched... yeah."

Micah Richards added his take: "Do you think it's a bit petty, Gary?"

Neville said "No, erm, I think if I had 570 million followers on Instagram, I wouldn't be a**ed about Gary Neville."

To which Richards said: "He's your ex-teammate though, come on."

But Neville refuted the issue: "Yeah, but he doesn't behave like someone who's played with me. Or him [Keane] for that matter."

The camera then focused on Keane smiling with Neville saying "Honestly, he won't say a bad word about Ronaldo."

Jamie Carragher who also was ignored by Carragher during the year tweeted "Welcome to the blanked by Ronaldo club @GNev2."

Manchester United play Aston Villa next Sunday.
