Rugby World Cup: Ireland’s Jonathan Sexton cleared to face Argentina

Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt has confirmed his starting XV to face Argentina on Sunday and there’s welcome news as Jonathan Sexton has been passed fit to play.

Sexton had been a doubt after being withdrawn in the first-half of the win over France last weekend, but he appears to have recovered from the groin strain.

Meanwhile, Keith Earls has also shrugged off an injury to earn another start, while Chris Henry, Jordi Murphy and Iain Henderson have been called upon to replace unavailable trio Sean O’Brien (suspended), Peter O’Mahony (injured) and Paul O’Connell (injured).
