Tyson Fury 'tests positive for cocaine' claim American broadcasters ESPN

WORLD heavyweight champion Tyson Fury could be stripped of his titles following reports he has tested positive for cocaine use.

The 28-year-old last week pulled out of his re-match with Wladimir Klitschko, which was re-scheduled for October 29, after being deemed “medically unfit” to fight.

However, according to American sports broadcasters ESPN, Fury tested positive for cocaine on September 22, a day before he pulled out of the Klitschko fight for the second time.

ESPN's renowned boxing journalist Dan Rafael claims Fury, who represented Ireland as an amateur boxer and has spoken of mental health issues in the past, failed a test conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), who found traces of cocaine in his urine sample.

Fury’s representatives are yet to pass comment on the reports, but the heavyweight does have the right to request analysis of the 'B' sample he provided on the day of the test.
