Billy Burns and John Cooney start as the 9 and 10 in the side.

In the pack Andy Warwick, Rob Herring, and Jeff Toomaga-Allen start in the front row

Alan O’Connor captains the side alongside Kieran Treadwell in the second row.

The side is completed by a back row of David McCann, Nick Timoney, Duane Vermeulen.

Craig Gilroy announced he would be leaving Ulster at end of the season and starts on the bench on Friday.

“On paper, Edinburgh has one of the best squads in the league. They haven’t got what they wanted from this season, but we will not be taking them for granted on Friday night. This is a really important game for us," said scrum-half Cooney.
