ROY Keane has landed himself in hot water with a renowned WWE star, who has threatened to ‘batter’ the Irishman following his comments on Wayne Rooney.
Keane questioned Rooney’s commitment to the captain’s cause after the Manchester United skipper was filmed taking part in a seemingly staged wrestling event.
“Why is he getting involved in all that nonsense?” said Keane, who went on to slate the England striker’s recent performances for United on ITV, per the above video.
Wade Barrett, the wrestler involved on the night of Rooney’s WWE cameo, subsequently posted this to his 1.18million Twitter followers:

It remains to be seen if Keane is willing to engage.
