Ireland's shortest St Patrick's Day parade, lasting 32 seconds, has taken place in County Clare

THERE are St Patrick's Day parades taking place all over the world today but perhaps none quite like this one.

The village of Carrigaholt in Co. Clare held its third annual parade this year - and has the claim to fame of being the shortest parade in Ireland.

Becky O'Farrell and Lorraine Morrissey organise and participate in the parade every March 17.

This year's St Patrick's Day parade was the longest yet at 25ft - and took 32 seconds in total.
