JUST PICTURE Tarzan, but set in Cork, bai.
Ireland has a wide range of quirky Airbnb's available for people who want something a little different-- like a Hobbit Hut overlooking a lake in Donegal, or a cottage on an Alpaca farm-- but this might just be our favourite one yet.
If you've ever dreamed of getting away from it all and living up a tree, Tarzan style, or are still holding on to the childhood dream of owning your own treehouse, this is the Airbnb for you.
The aptly named 'Urban Tranquilatree' is based right on the edge of Cork city and is a fully insulated treehouse supported by trees over six feet high-- and is on the top of a super steep hill revealing the incredible scenery of the city below.
It sounds like the perfect place to soak up nature and live free while also being close enough to the city to avail of everything the amazing Cork city has to offer.
And if you're worried about the weather at this time of year, the owners are quick to reassure that the heating system is suitable for all seasons, and the treehouse even withstood Hurricane Ophelia without any problems, so it's as sturdy as can be.
The double bedroom leads to a deck with incredible views of the city...
...and you can even have your breakfast up on the deck (weather permitting, of course) with your meal sent up to you by the hosts via an innovative basket and pulley system.
This is definitely one for the more adventurous of us, but if you're tempted but unsure, the interior looks as comfortable and warm as any hotel room.
And seriously-- those views.
