Graham Norton is riding high on British TV rich list

IRISH chat show host Graham Norton has made it on to this year’s TV rich list – thanks to his £27m bank balance.

Norton, 52, joins the likes of Northern Irish presenter Eamonn Holmes, music mogul Simon Cowell and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver on the Now Magazine’s 2015 list.

Norton places at 14 with his hefty bank balance – thanks to his BBC chat show and his former production company, So Television, which he sold to ITV in 2012.

Unsurprisingly, X Factor judge Simon Cowell tops the list with a fortune of £325m, while Jamie Oliver comes in second place with £180m thanks to his various television shows and his chain of restaurants.

Ireland was well represented on the list; with second generation Irishman Declan Donnelly from Ant & Dec appearing in fourth place alongside his co-presenter, with a combined £76m between them.

Former X Factor host Dermot O’Leary has a net worth of £12m, leaving him in 29th place, while Eamonn Holmes is four places behind on £11m.

Reality TV star and former glamour model Katie Price is the only woman to make the top ten with a fortune of £45m, while Cowell’s fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini appears on the list with a healthy £20m bank balance.
