LIAM Neeson and Jack Gleeson have been linked to a forthcoming remake of the hit 1990s children's TV series Power Rangers.
Taken star Neeson has been tipped to take on the role of the Rangers’ wise mentor Zordon, who exists in a glass tube as a floating head.

In addition to the Irish actors, acting legend Meryl Streep is believed to be in talks for the part of evil sorceress Rita Repulsa.
With an impressive cast being lined up for the upcoming film, it will be hoped that this movie will be able to break the Power Rangers box office curse after two previous film versions of the hit series failed to make an impact on the silver screen.
