MRS BROWN is the top choice satnav voice for holiday-makers hitting the road this summer.
When asked which celebrity they would choose as the voice of their GPS device tourists revealed that the loud-mouthed Dublin matriarch would be in their top three along with Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman and British funny-man Stephen Fry.
Almost 7-in-10 also admitted that when it comes to the perfect car-cation love conquers all with their companion of choice being their other half.
Although when it comes to finding their way around only a quarter said they would use a traditional maps or guide book with a techy six-in-10 choosing to use a satnav.
The survey was carried out by ferry company Stena Line after it was revealed that eight-in-10 people are thinking of taking a car on holiday with them this summer.
