Crowds flock to London Irish Vintage Club charity day

THE annual London Irish Vintage Club charity day took place at the Tir Chonaill Gaels' grounds in Greenford at the weekend, attracting a large crowd who enjoyed the vintage cars, tractors and lorries.

The day also featured music and dancing, displays of threshing, sheep sheering, falconry and traditional crafts.

Among those present were members of the Glencolmcille Folk Village from Co. Donegal who travelled to London for the day to show off their traditional craft skills.

Proceeds from the day will be donated to Acton Homeless Concern, Meadow House Hopsice, Caritas St Josephs and Hounslow Toy Library for Disabled Children.
