WITH the centenary of the Easter Rising fast approaching, it is time to brush up on our knowledge of Irish history.
Of course, with a complex and lengthy history like Ireland has, it can all be a bit overwhelming.
Luckily, history fanatic and YouTuber John D Ruddy is on hand to help out.
The actor, illustrator and amateur historian has produced this nifty eight minute video which will teach you all about the Easter Rising - from the history leading up to 1916, to the decades after, which saw the Republic of Ireland established.
He's also produced a number of other videos including six minute snapshots Irish History and World War One.
