A YOUNG Irish girl is earning her nickname 'The Beast' after her dad posted an impressive video of her training for next weekend's Thai boxing championship in Sheffield.
Cork native Jodie McCarthy, 9, is already a champion in her own right, picking up the 5 Nations crown Thai boxing crown.
But this video shows, if anything, that she has her sights set high on picking up further championship medals.
Dan McCarthy shared the footage on his Facebook page, which shows Jodie in training mode, pounding meat at the butchers, lifting kettle bells, doing chin ups and more.
It's hard to believe that Jodie is just nine years old.
