A TEENAGE boy has appeared in court after being charged with the murder of a man in Co. Tipperary last year.
Stephen Clarke, who was aged in his 30s, was assaulted in the Castlecranna area of Newport on March 10, 2025. He passed away in hospital on April 25, 2025.
Gardaí revealed this morning they had arrested a male youth this morning in connection with the investigation.
The teenager was subsequently charged and appeared later this morning before Tipperary Town District Court sitting at Thurles.
The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, was remanded to Oberstown Youth Detention Campus in Dublin to appear before Nenagh District Court next Wednesday, April 8.
