Cash in transit van stolen in Leinster

GARDAÍ are investigating a robbery in Dublin following the seizure of a cash in a transit van.

Three men are believed to have seized the content of a van carrying cash in Clongriffin.

The black van was parked on the Main Street in Clongriffin as it collected cash from a business at approximately 2 pm on Saturday.

According to BreakingNews, the vehicle spotted robbing the cash in transit van was a white Ford Transit, with the cash in transit van emptied by one accomplice cutting the lock sealing the van on the roof.

Both vehicles were found burned at Railway Court in the country's capital.

It's believed the amount of cash robbed in the incident was in the region of €100,000.
