Donald Trump says 'China should pay ten trillion dollars to America and the world' in wake of Wuhan lab leak investigation

DONALD TRUMP is demanding that China be forced to pay ten trillion dollars for its role in the Covid-19 pandemic amid speculation that the virus originated from a laboratory in Wuhan.

More than 3.7 million people have died from the virus since the pandemic began, and Trump says that China must pay for the "death and destruction they have caused".

He also savaged Dr Anthony Fauci, hinting that president's chief medical adviser knew about the lab leak and suggested he participated in the cover up.

Trump also claimed to have saved hundreds of thousands of lives by ignoring his former adviser's guidance on issues such as mask-wearing and border control.

"Now everyone, even the so-called 'enemy', are beginning to say that President Trump was right about the China Virus coming from the Wuhan Lab," he said.

"The correspondence between Dr. Fauci and China and speaks too loudly for anyone to ignore.

"China should pay ten trillion Dollars to America and the world, for the death and destruction they have caused."

Back in 2020, Trump stated publicly that Covid-19 may have originated from a lab in Wuhan, rather by jumping from an animal host to a human, as per the currently accepted origin theory.

His comments were deemed to be unacceptable and even racist by Trump's critics, and were even removed from social media platforms such as Facebook after being labelled 'a conspiracy theory'.

Facebook faced intense scrutiny and were accused of holding double standards last week after lifting their ban on comments about a potential lab leak, hours after President Joe Biden gave credence to the idea.

While nothing has been confirmed, the idea that Covid-19 originated from a lab in Wuhan "is no longer being discounted" by the US government.
