GARDAÍ have launched an investigation after the body of a woman was found at a house in south Dublin.
The as yet unnamed woman was discovered dead inside a house on Ranelagh Road in Dublin 6 this afternoon.
The find was made at around 3.45pm.
Her body remains at the scene and the area surrounding the house has been sealed off to facilitate a forensic examination.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
