Investigation launched after man found with serious injuries in Dublin

GARDAÍ have launched an investigation after a man was discovered with serious injuries in Dublin on Saturday.

The man, aged in his 30s, was discovered by a passer-by on Firhouse Road, Rathfarnham, shortly after 8pm.

He was taken to Tallaght Hospital where his condition is described as serious.

Gardaí believe the man may have sustained his injuries accidentally after a fall.

They have appealed for a woman who stopped to help to come forward.

She is described as being in her late 30s or early 40s, with blonde hair and driving a large black saloon car.

The woman, who had a child in the car with her, left the scene before gardaí arrived.

Anyone with information should contact Rathfarnham Garda Station on 01 6666500 or any Garda station.
