A MAN in his 70's has died after the car he was driving collided with a truck yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred on the Monivea Road near Carnmore at around 2pm yesterday.
The man in his 70's was fatally injured from the collision.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to University Hospital Galway.
The driver of the truck sustained no serious injuries in the collision.
