A MAN has died following a workplace incident in Co. Clare.
According to RTE News, the man, who was in his 70s, died while working a digger at his home near Feakle, East Clare.
Gardaí were alerted to the home in the early hours of the morning, where the man was discovered with fatal injuries in his yard.
The man’s body was removed to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem examination.
Gardaí and the Health Safety Authority are now investigating the incident.
