Victim of fatal Co. Down stabbing named as Eamonn O'Hanlon

POLICE investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Gilford, Co. Down, have named the victim as 36-year-old Eamonn Darren O'Hanlon.

Mr O'Hanlon, from north Belfast, died after he sustained stab wounds in the Hill Street area during the early hours of Saturday, May 21.

Three people were arrested on Saturday morning after police launched a murder investigation.

The PSNI has since confirmed that all three have now been released unconditionally.

A fourth person arrested on Saturday afternoon in connection with the killing remains in custody.

The PSNI has asked any witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference 262 21/05/22.
