FLIGHTS between Britain and Ireland were cancelled earlier in the week as Storm Barney hit.
And even the flights that did manage to take off were effected by extremely strong crosswinds.
This flight from London to Cork Airport was due to land on Wednesday evening - but gale-force winds forced it to abort its landing at the last second.
The plane later landed safely - but it must have been terrifying for the passengers.
