Woman urinates on phone shop floor after she was asked to leave for not wearing a mask

A WOMAN in the US was arrested after urinating on the floor of a phone shop.

The unidentified female’s dirty protest was reportedly began after she and two other customers were asked to leave the retail outlet for refusing to wear face masks.

The incident occurred at a branch of Verizon in Sacramento, California, this past Friday, July 17.

According to a report from CBS13, the woman was repeatedly asked by staff inside the shop to wear a mask while she browsed items.

However, those pleas fell on deaf ears with the woman and her two fellow shoppers refusing to wear any kind of face covering.

Staff eventually called the police, who were on their way to the store when a dispatcher broke the news that the woman had began urinating on the shop floor.

In an audio recording of the conversation between the dispatcher can be heard initially telling the officers the woman was "refusing to leave, not wearing a mask… they’ve asked several times and she refuses".

Things take an unexpected turn when the dispatcher returns to tell the officers: “They’re calling back and advising that that female is pulling down her pants and is now urinating inside the business.”

A spokesperson for Verizon told CBS13 that several other, undisclosed, issues contributed to the woman’s eventual outburst and arrest.

Police officers eventually decided to arrest the woman after several other stolen items from a nearby sports store were discovered in her car.
