Leinster's team to face La Rochelle in the Champions Cup

Two changes have been made to the Leinster lineup for their Champions Cup game against La Rochelle this evening. Will Connors and Jason Jenkins come into the front pack for the game in Dublin.

Leo Cullen has also gone with the back three of Hugo Keenan, Jordan Larmour, and James Lowe for the tie. In midfield, Cullen has opted for a duo of Jamie Osborne and Robbie Henshaw.

The backline is completed by Ross Byrne at the outhalf and Jamison Gibson-Park at the scrumhalf.

In the front row, the Ireland trio of Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan, and Tadhg Furlong get the nod. Joe McCarthy and Jenkins provide cover in the second row. The side has finally completed a backrow trio of Ryan Baird, Connors, and Caelan Doris.

Among the replacements, Michael Milne and Luke McGrath come into the matchday 23, in place of Cian Healy and Ben Murphy.

Speaking ahead of the game, senior coach Jacques Nienaber said he’s expecting a tough match from the French side.

“There are a bunch of internationals there. If you look at their spines, they're not all French internationals either. They have players that understand pressure and know how to perform under it.”
