Irish couple save the day and reunite rugby fans with lost World Cup tickets

AN Irish couple saved the day for three Ireland rugby fans in Cardiff on Sunday, when they reunited them with their lost World Cup tickets.

For Dubliners Sinead, Ian and Colin Browne they came frighteningly close to missing out on Ireland’s storming victory over France just hours before kick off.

As they wandered around outside the Millennium Stadium Ian realised that he’d lost all three tickets.

After much searching and panic, they came across fellow Irish fans John Cullinan and his girlfriend Rachel, who were holding up a sign with ‘Ian Browne, lost something?’

They had returned the tickets to the ticket office but still wanted to find the owners, and luckily for the trio they were in the right place at the right time.
