REPUBLIC of Ireland international Robbie Keane has signed a contract extension with LA Galaxy.
Keane, who has netted 55 goals in 91 appearances for the MLS side, will stay in the United States for at least another season. MLS policy means the specific terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.
The 139 times capped star is also Ireland’s record scorer with 65 senior goals has signed a new deal much to the delight of LA Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena.
“We’re very pleased Robbie will continue to be a member of the Galaxy in the coming years,” Arena said. “He has been one of the key pieces in our success over the past five seasons. We look forward to even more success with Robbie as a member of our team.”
