Seamus Coleman shows his class welcoming new boys to Ireland squad

WE HAVE all known for a while now that Seamus Coleman is a class act.

He is the ideal captain to have in this current Ireland camp, given the youth and experience that can be seen throughout the squad.

And if you don't believe us, you'll surely believe one of the best managers of all time in Carlo Ancelotti, who said that Coleman is "up there with Maldini", when it comes to being a leader.

So when the FAI shared a video of the Everton captain meeting 19-year-old Gavin Bazunu for the first time, we weren't surprised to see the Donegal man being so warm.

Bazunu can be seen talking to Robbie Brady, before Coleman comes over and treats the young lad like an absolute star.

He walks over to him, gives him a knuckle touch, and says "Gav! Nice to meet ya. You're flying, aren't ya?"

Take a look:

We'd like to think that long after Coleman's playing days are done, he'll still be kept around the Ireland squad in some capacity.

The young Dublin goalkeeper was recently called up to the Irish squad for the first time, and is enjoying regular game time at Rochdale while on loan from Manchester City.
