All British Feile's (ABCs)

Special guests were Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy along with Uactaran CLG Aoghan O Farrell. Special thanks to club members who gave up their time to help out over the weekend.

Best wishes
We all have Tom O'Connor in our thoughts as he battles a bout of ill health at the minute, we hope to see him back at Pairc Tír Chonaill in the not to distant future.

U12 League winners for 2015
Congratulations to Tara U12's who defeated Parnell’s in the Semi Final and Dulwich Harps in the final to win the League for 2015
On Friday evening the 17th of July Tara played Parnell’s in the Semi Final of the U12 League. This was a cracker of a game with two very strong teams with great play from both sides. Tara leading by just a point with half time score Tara 1-05 to Parnell’s 2-01.

Tara then went on to play Dulwich Harps 15 minutes later to secure the final of the league. A close game in the first half with a half time score of 1-07 to Dulwich and 2-01 to Tara's. U14 League Winners for 2015
Congratulations to St Kiernan's when they defeated Dulwich Harps at NLS to win the U14 League for 2015. The U14 league final was played on Friday evening 17th July at Tottenhall Sports Grounds which saw St. Kiernan's up against Dulwich Harps which was a repeat of The championship final. St. Kiernan's played against the strong breeze in first half and were under pressure right from the start as the big physical Dulwich side got the early scores. St Kiernan's managed to keep themselves in the game by playing some good football and were able to keep the scoreboard ticking over but Dulwich were always able to get some good scores and which kept them in front. The first half ended with Dulwich in the lead by four points with the score at 3-07 to 3-03.

St. Kiernan's came out in second half with great determination and with the strong wind at their backs took the game to Dulwich. In the first few minutes St. Kiernan's turned the four point deficit to a one point lead by scoring a goal and two points within the first five minutes to take the lead for the first time and it was a lead they never lost. St. Kiernan's were starting to dominate all areas of the pitch as their defence were on top with some great defending from Michael English and Martin Sexton in the full back line and Caolan Doyle starting all the attacks from centre back. All the St. Kiernan's pressure and procession yielded some great goals from Elliot McPhun and Paddy Ryan as their interchanging roles cause Dulwich all sort of problems as they created large holes within the Dulwich defence. St. Kiernan's limited Dulwich just to one point in the second half as their midfield were winning a lot of procession with Matthew Joyce getting on the ball and dictating the play and this helped St. Kiernan's to run out easy winners in the end with a final score of St. Kiernan's 8-10 Dulwich 3-08. St. Kiernan's captain Martin Sexton received the league cup from Tony Halloran in what was the second cup within six days after receiving the All Britain Cup last Sunday.
