THE people of the beautiful town of Killarney, Co. Kerry were given a special summer surprise last night as the legendary Aslan frontman, Christy Dignam, took to the streets of the town with local musicians, including multi-instrumentalist Liam O'Connor.
The hit song was released in 1993 and was included on the successful album Goodbye Charlie Moonhead.
The song reached number four on the Irish Singles Chart and stayed in the charts for three months.
Before Aslan's gig at Listowel Town Square in Kerry on August 11, Christy decided to give the nearby town of Killarney a little bit of love last night.
Thankfully, someone was on hand to record the moment the whole of Plunkett Street sang along to the iconic tune.
