FORMER Westlife heartthrob Kian Egan has announced plans for his debut solo album.
The I'm A Celebrity winner will release it on March 17, St Patrick's Day, through Warner Music UK.
The album will be produced by Brian Rawling, who has previously worked with Kylie Minogue and One Direction.
The 33-year-old singer said: 'I am incredibly excited to be recording an album with Warner Music.
'Music is my first love, and to be able to get in the studio to record these amazing songs by such wonderful writers is such a thrill and an honour for me.'
The album will feature personal tracks and also his version of some of his favourite songs.
The Voice of Ireland coach will become the second member of Westlife to launch a solo career since the band split in 2012.
Shane Filan released You And Me in November last year, which peaked at number six in the UK charts and number three on the Irish charts.
