Extras wanted in Ireland for upcoming Russell Crowe flick

THE CASTING team behind Oscar-Winning actor Russell Crowe's next film, which is being filmed in Ireland, is currently on the look out for extras.

The Pope's Exorcist is shooting across Dublin and Wicklow throughout August and September and is looking for people to share a screen with Crowe.

The film follows the story of real-life figure Father Gabriele Amorth, a priest who acted as chief exorcist of the Vatican and who performed more than 100,000 exorcisms in his lifetime.

Set in Spain/Italy in 1995, movieextras.ie is looking for some Mediterranean/South American looking men and women of all ages.

They are also looking for black men and women over the age of 50, "who could pull off a cardinal or priest look."

The team are mostly on the lookout for adults, but some teenagers will also be required.

Women who are hoping to be successful should have a "natural look" with no acrylic nails or tattooed eyebrows, fake tan, visible tattoos or facial piercings, while men should not have a fade haircut, visible tattoos or facial piercings.

Accurate clothing measurements will also be required in the application, as the film is a costume production.

Shooting for the film begins in August with various dates until the end of September. The more flexible extras are, the better, as continuity will be required.
