Sister Act: The Musical will hit Dublin for the first time in 2020

WE'RE WHOOPING for joy at this news!

(Please accept my most heartfelt apologies for that terrible pun).

Musical fans, comedy fans, Sister Act fans-- whoever you are, you can rejoice at this news, because the iconic Sister Act musical is finally coming to Dublin!

For the very first time, the show which has sold out in Broadway and London's West End will be wowing audiences in Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.

Starting from September 29th 2020, the brilliant production will run for one week only and is sure to sell out fast-- especially because there's a chance Whoopi Goldberg herself could be starring as Deloris Wilson!

The internet was thrown into a frenzy recently when it was confirmed that both Whoopi Goldberg and Jennifer Saunders would be joining the musical team and playing their original characters in a newly adapted version of the musical in London's West End-- and while there's no confirmation yet of Dublin audiences being treated to the same thing, you better believe we're praying for it to happen.

General tickets for the show's short run in Dublin will go on sale this Friday, 22nd November at 9am, but if you're a member of the Bord Gáis Energy Rewards Club, you can get your hands on them tomorrow!
