Third Irish Springsteen and E Street Band date added, with all three selling out

A THIRD Irish date has been added in Ireland for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, with all three dates selling out quickly this morning.

Fans of Springsteen were up early this morning as tickets went on sale at 8am, with dates for the RDS in Dublin having been announced this week for 5 and 7 May 2023.

Tickets for both dates were sold out within minutes, with Aiken Promotions announcing a third date for 9 May.

As of 10.50am, single tickets for each gig were unavailable for purchase on Ticketmaster for all three dates, with the seller later confirming that all three dates are sold out.

The RDS has a concert capacity of 18,500.

Prior to tickets going on sale, Ticketmaster tweeted to say "the site is already really busy" meaning that "tickets are likely to go quickly this morning!"

It also shared its tips to guarantee getting tickets, which included not refreshing the screen and to not oversleep.

The cost of the tickets for the concert drew some criticism with seated tickets being priced at €96 and €156, while standing tickets were priced at €131.

Concert dates for UK cities and venues are to be announced at a later date.
